Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Lead to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in FP&A within a tech company. This role requires a proactive individual capable of partnering with business teams, managing monthly planning and reporting, and ensuring detailed analysis of financial variances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnership: Partner with business teams to manage monthly planning and reporting processes.
  • Monthly MIS: Prepare and deliver monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze variances (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) in detail, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Process Establishment: Develop and maintain structured processes, adhering to strict timelines for financial close and reporting.
  • ERP Management: Utilize ERP systems for managing the chart of accounts and segment-wise reporting.
  • Profitability Reporting: Generate project and product-wise profitability statements.
  • SaaS Metrics: Familiarity with SaaS (Software as a Service) metrics and their application in financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • CA/CMA/MBA with 5-10 years of relevant experience in FP&A. Non-CAs with substantial experience, especially those who have served as head of finance or in a similar role, are also welcome to apply.
  • Proven experience in FP&A within a tech company.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS metrics.
  • Proficiency in using Zoho (preferred) and excellent Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain structured financial processes.
  • Strong communication and partnership skills with business teams.
  • A strong inclination towards financial automation and process improvement.
  • Preferably from a tech product company serving the Indian market and expanding globally.
