# **Order status tracking via API and webhooks** 



To help you track the customer's loan progress, HyperCredit provides two tracking methods:

* **[Order Status API:](/hyper-credit/web/status-tracking/status-apis#Status-APIs)** [](/hyper-credit/web/status-tracking/status-apis#Status-APIs)A set of two APIs you can use to actively check the exact status of an order and loan journey at any time. It gives you detailed, real-time updates directly from the lender (like when an offer is selected, KYC is completed, or a loan has been granted). You must always check this to confirm the final approval and amount before completing the order.
* **[HyperCredit Webhooks:](/hyper-credit/web/status-tracking/webhooks#Webhooks)**  Automatic alerts sent directly to you whenever a major step is completed. This acts as a safety net. If a customer loses their internet connection and cannot return to your checkout screen after getting approved, these alerts ensure you still find out their order was successful.
