# **Product Tenure Based Filtering** 



This feature controls the EMI Plan Tenures to be displayed to the customers based on the product’s tenure (such as Insurance tenure or Course tenure). When enabled, the EMI Plan Tenures are filtered up to the configured maximum tenure. 


#### **Example:** 



If the product tenure is of 9 months, customers will only see EMI options up to 9 months, such as 3, 6, and 9 months. It hides any EMI tenures exceeding 9 months, such as 12 or 24 months, even if they are supported by the lender.


# **Tenure Locking** 



Many lenders typically allow customers to revisit their selected EMI tenure on the lender's platform during the KYC and agreement signing steps. Tenure Locking is a feature that overrides this default behavior. It ensures that once a user selects an EMI tenure on the checkout page, that specific choice is finalized and no further edit options are provided by the lender.


#### **Example:** 



If the customer selects a 9-month EMI plan on the checkout page, the lender’s journey will remain locked strictly to 9 months, preventing the customer from modifying it later in the loan process.
