# **Creating Leads and Orders** 



The following workflow describes a typical assisted-financing journey through SmartConvert.

Using Smart Convert, you can collect the payment for the customer’s orders via Payment Links (UPI, Net Banking, Cards, Wallets etc.), Pre Approved EMIs (Debit Card, Credit Card, Cardless), and Instant Loans (HyperCredit).


#### **1. Create the Lead and Order** 



Navigate to **Dashboard → Create Lead & Order** .

Create the Lead by entering the required customer, order, and product details. Review the information before proceeding.

#### **2. Select the Financing Method** 



Choose the option that matches the customer’s requirement:

* **Payment Link:**  Send a secure link to the customer to complete the payment via one of the payment methods UPI, Net Banking, Cards, Wallets etc.
* **Pre-approved EMI:**  Send a payment link consisting of Customer’s pre-eligible EMI offers (CC, DC, and Cardless)
* **Apply for New Loan:**  Start a new loan application for the customer as outlined below.

> **Note**
> The options displayed depend on the products enabled for the merchant and the user’s role permissions.




#### **3. Initiating the Payment** 



Choose how the loan application to be initiated:

* **Customer-led journey:**  Share the Loan Link with the customer. Using the link provided to the customer, they can verify their mobile number using the OTP/Sharecode received on their registered mobile number and continue the loan application as outlined in [click here.](/hyper-credit/web/introduction/hypercredit-loan-journey#HyperCredit-Loan-Journey)
* **Agent-assisted journey:**  Continue the application on the dashboard by verifying the customer’s mobile number using the OTP/Sharecode received by the customer, with their consent.

> **Note**
> The OTP must be received and provided by the customer. Do not proceed using an unverified mobile number.




#### **4. Capture Applicant Information** 



The following information from the applicant is required for the processing of the loan application:

* Personal and contact details
* Employment and income details

> **Note**
> The required fields may vary depending on the lender, and the products to be financed.



**5. Select a Lender and Continue the Application** 

Based on the eligibility criteria provided by the lenders, SmartConvert performs a Smart Matching Engine identifies the eligible lenders for the customer.

Once a lender is selected, the approved EMI offers for the customer are retrieved. 

Review the available offers and compare the tenure, EMI amount, interest rate or APR, applicable fees, and other terms displayed on the screen.

Select the customer’s preferred EMI Offer and continue with further loan application processes such as KYC, agreement, repayment setup on the lender’s page.

> **Warning**
> After an offer is selected, the order remains visible in SmartConvert and progresses through the configured loan milestones. The dashboard can be used to monitor the journey, review customer activity, and inspect lender or transaction outcomes.
