# **Merchant level counters** 



Merchant level counters can be created to track total number of transactions, total GMV, total card/ NB/ UPI_Collect/ UPI_Intent transactions across customers. Merchant level counters can also be created for tracking/counting customers making transactions using the same card or same VPA. These counters cannot be used to count customers using the same Net Banking and UPI Intent. 


### Sample merchant level counters,



1. **Total transaction count in a day**  - The counter "Total txn count in a day", will count the Number of transactions and will reset itself every day. FRM will return a status of "PASSED" till Counter value of 4 and will return "FLAGGED" till the counter value of 6.FRM by default will return "Rejected" once the counter value breaches the reject value.

2. **Total txn Amount in a day -** The counter **”Total txn Amount in a day”,**  will count the **sum**  of **transaction amount**  and will reset itself every **day**  . FRM will return a status of ” **Passed** ” till Counter value of **400**  and will return “**Flagged**  till the counter value of  **600** . FRM by default will return **Rejected**  once the Reject value is breached.

3. **Number of Customers using the same Card Identifier**  - The counter ,**Number of Customers using the same Card Identifier** , will count the customers using the same card identifier  and will reset itself every **day.** FRM will return a status of “**passed** ” till Counter value of **2**  and will return “**Flagged** ” till the counter value of  **4** . FRM by default will return **Rejected**  once the Reject value is breached.

4. **Number of Customers using the same VPA**  - The counter ,**Number of Customers using the same VPA** , will count the customers using the same VPA and will reset itself every **day.** FRM will return a status of “**passed** ” till Counter value of **2**  and will return “**Flagged** ” till the counter value of  **4** . FRM by default will return **Rejected**  once the Reject value is breached.

5. **Number of Transactions per PMI (Card)** -  The counter "**Number of Transactions per PMI (Card)** ", will count the Number of transactions for each customer CARD and will reset itself every day. FRM will return a status of "PASSED" till Counter value of 2 and will return "FLAGGED" till the counter value of 6.FRM by default will return "Rejected" once the counter value breaches the reject value.

6. **Number of Transactions per PMI (VPA)**  - The counter "**Number of Transactions per PMI (VPA)** ", will count the Number of transactions for each customer VPA and will reset itself every day. FRM will return a status of "PASSED" till Counter value of 2 and will return "FLAGGED" till the counter value of 6.FRM by default will return "Rejected" once the counter value breaches the reject value.
