# Bank customer charges for NACH mandates and transactions




## Some destination banks charge their customers for NACH mandates and transactions. The fees vary from bank to bank.



Here are some of the charges of various destination banks. Each bank displays these fees in their online schedule of charges on their respective websites.


### **Mandate registration** 



Some banks charge their customers for mandate registration (all variants).

* Bank of Baroda: Rs 100 + GST
* State Bank of India: Rs 50 + GST
* Kotak Mahindra Bank: Rs 50 + GST


### **API eMandate authorisation** 



Some banks charge their customers an additional fee for API eMandate authorisation.

Yes Bank: Rs 1

Destination banks usually retain this fee. Some may return the fee to the customer.


### **Transaction return** 



All banks charge customers a penalty for returned transactions e.g. if there is insufficient balance in the account at the time of the debit request. The fee varies from Rs 100 to Rs 400. To avoid the penalty, customer should ensure that sufficient funds are in the account on the day of the debit request.
