Physical mandate scan using the LotusPay NACH mobile app

If your LotusPay account is enabled for physical mandates, you can use the LotusPay NACH mobile app to scan paper mandates.

You can download the LotusPay NACH app from the Google Play store on your Android device. For best results, use a modern device with latest Android operating system and a good camera.

You can log in with your key. If you are a field agent, your company's central operations team will send you your key.

Scan after data

This is relevant if your company is giving source (soft data) first and scan image second. For a particular source, you can scan and upload an image.

• Step 1. Select a source or search for it by its Reference 1 value or Source ID value. You can also search for the source by the QR code printed on the paper mandate if your company has opted in for that feature. You can also apply filters in the list: With Image means that you have already uploaded an image. Without Image means that it requires an image.

• Step 2. Check that the source details match the paper mandate that you want to scan. If matching, click on SCAN PAPER MANDATE. Your device camera will open.

• Step 3. Place the paper mandate on a flat surface. Ensure that there is good lighting. Position your device camera directly above the paper mandate and hold still. Ensure that the crop box is around the edge of the mandate. Then capture the image.

• Step 4. Review the image, ensuring that it has been cropped correctly and is in focus. Then click on UPLOAD. Otherwise, click on back and retake the photo.

• Step 5. Before the source has been processed, you can replace the image by following the above procedure again.

Scan before data

This is relevant if your company is following the procedure of uploading scan image first, and creating source second. You can simply scan any paper mandate and enter the Reference 1 value. Later on, when your company creates a source with a matching Reference 1 value, the source and image will automatically get linked.

• Step 1. Place the paper mandate on a flat surface. Ensure that there is good lighting. Position your device camera directly above the paper mandate and hold still. Ensure that the crop box is around the edge of the mandate. Then capture the image.

• Step 2 . Review the image, ensuring that it has been cropped correctly and is in focus. Then click on UPLOAD. Otherwise, click on back and retake the photo.

• Step 3. Enter a Reference 1 value. If you enter a value for which a scan already exists, the most recent scan will be attached when the matching source is created.

View all scans

You can see a list of your scan images that have not yet been attached to any soft data. You can select one or search for one, and view the image and Reference 1 value. If you want to replace it, just scan the paper mandate again and enter the same Reference 1 value. The most recent scan will be attached when the matching source is created.

Next steps

If you are a field agent, your company's central operations team will process the source for you. No further action is required by you.
