# Deactivate Surcharge Logic



Juspay provides option to deactivate the current Surcharge logic.

Please find the below steps

* Login to the Juspay dashboard > PG Control Centre > Surcharge > Select the`Active`Surcharge rule > click on `Deactivate` button
* Once the Surcharge logic is deactivated, the status will move to `Inactive` status
* Only the active Surcharge Rule can be deactivated. Post deactivation of Surcharge rule, the transactions will not be Surcharged until the other Surcharge rule is Activated.
