UPI Intent for mWeb

When a user selects “Pay with UPI app” option, a transaction request needs to created by the merchant.
- A distinct URI is created for every transaction attempt, using which the re-direction to UPI apps can be invoked
- User can choose their preferred UPI app and complete the payment.

Due to the restrictive nature of iOS, it is not possible to check for the list of installed UPI PSP apps on the device.

Hence, on iOS mWeb, the list of top UPI PSP apps is displayed by default.

As a result, if a user selects a PSP app that is not installed on their device, the redirection and transaction are expected to fail.

You can use the Transaction Analytics Module in Juspay Dashboard to monitor the traffic and performance of UPI Intent transactions.
