UDF Based Offers
UDFs (User Defined Fields) allow merchants to pass additional information within the order payload. This data is stored at Juspay and can be used for analytics, reporting, or to distinguish between different transaction types.
Juspay supports 10 UDFs: udf1 through udf10.
Behavior:
The values sent in UDFs are returned in the Order Status API response and also included in webhooks sent back to the merchant.
These UDFs help in identifying and categorizing transactions based on custom parameters passed from your application.
Special Characters:
Use udf1 to udf5 for values without special characters.
Use udf6 to udf10 for values containing special characters.
UDF-Based Offers:
You can create and target offers based on the parameters passed through UDFs. This enables personalized or segmented promotions driven by custom transaction data.
