Refunds via Payouts

Refunds can be processed either directly to the original debited source or through alternative payment modes using payouts. Refunds via payouts can be initiated based on specific business use cases.

Usecase

• Some payment aggregators do not support refunds and only handle transaction flows. In such cases, payouts can be used to process refunds.

• If refund initiation date exceeds the last refund date supported by the payment aggregator (as certain gateways have a limited refund window), payouts can be utilized to facilitate the refund process.

• Procure Payout credentials from Payout supported payment aggregators
